Being offered for sale without reserve this stunning Antique Art Deco 9ct yellow gold Jade plaque ring circa 1930’s. The ring is crafted in yellow gold but has a slightly rose colour as it is an older gold which has a richer colour than modern gold. The ring is set with a lovely mottled green jade “jadeite” rectangular plaque the more sought after type of jade. Nephrite being the other which is much more common and usually used for larger pieces and comes in many different colours. The jade plaque measures 1 cm by 7.5 mm and is four claw set in to a double border gallery. The ring is a UK R 1/2 that’s a U.
